The GEN II gland is equipped with an AISI-316 stainless steel spring that provides constant pressure to the sealing surfaces. To compensate for any slight misalignment, the seal ring is mounted on the shaft and is in constant contact with the graphite seal surface preventing any water ingress. With no metal-to-metal contact, any possibility of electrolysis is eliminated.
